Where is the Božaj — Hani i Hotit border crossing

Božaj — Hani i Hotit is one of the main road border crossings between Montenegro and Albania. On the Montenegrin side the checkpoint is called Božaj, and on the Albanian side — Hani i Hotit. The crossing is located in northern Albania, on the shore of Hoti Bay on Lake Skadar (Shkodër), in the Shkodër region.

It is about 20–25 km from Podgorica to the border, a drive of roughly 20–30 minutes. On the Albanian side, the nearest major city is Shkodër, from where Tirana is about a 3-hour drive.
