Where is the Ranče — Jabuka border crossing

Ranče — Jabuka is a road border crossing between Montenegro and Serbia. On the Montenegrin side the checkpoint is called Ranče, located in Pljevlja municipality, near the village of Otilovići. On the Serbian side — the Jabuka checkpoint, in Prijepolje municipality.

The crossing is located in a mountainous area on the road connecting Prijepolje (Serbia) and Pljevlja (Montenegro), serving as a convenient alternative to the busier Duga — Gostun crossing.

Ranče — Jabuka is a passenger-vehicle-only crossing: trucks and buses are not permitted and are directed to larger checkpoints such as Gostun. Because of this, and its mountainous location, queues here are typically shorter than on more popular routes.
