The text of the play "Epiphany," stylized as a satirical fairy tale, is inspired primarily by the verses of the poem of the same name by Matija Bećković, as well as by his poems "Knife" and "This and That" and the essay "On Fools." Producer Boris Mišković supplemented these literary motifs with dramatic scenes and images in dialogue form, which develop and stage the motifs and ideas of the original work.

The dramatic work uses the hypothetical circumstance of "what if God appeared in Montenegro" to warn, in a humorous and moving way, about the source, development, and devastating consequences of inter-brotherly hatred. The play insists on turning away from fratricidal war, calling for personal transformation as the only remedy for its causes.
