"AKADEMSKA KNJIGA": BORJAN MITROVIĆ - "LEKSIKON ANDRIĆEVOG SARAJEVA"

Akademska knjiga from Novi Sad will present its publishing projects through the cultural summer program in the House of the Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić on July 6 and 7.
On the first evening of the Night of Akademska knjiga, the Lexicon of Andrić’s Sarajevo by Borjan Mitrović will be presented. Through the form of a lexicon, the work maps Sarajevo as one of the key cities in shaping Andrić’s life and work. The author, Borjan Mitrović (1990, Sarajevo), is a philologist and art historian, a doctor of literary studies. Alongside the author, Žaneta Đukić Perišić will speak about the book.
On the second day, the autobiography of the painter Vlaho Bukovac, My Life, will be presented. The book tells the life story of one of the most significant painters from the Balkans—from childhood and travels through America and Europe to international artistic acclaim and portraits of European rulers and cultural greats. In the new edition, the autobiography has been restored to its authentic form, with additional parts and rich archival material. Taking part in the presentation are Bora Babić, the director of IK, and Vladimir Petrović, the editor.
