Promotional event for the poetry collection “Miris anđela” by writer, journalist, and social analyst Živojin Rakočević

The collection “Miris anđela” has been recognized in literary circles as a powerful testimony to suffering, remembrance, homeland, and spiritual survival. Through personal and collective experience, the collection speaks of vanished worlds, exile, historical memory, and the enduring values of folk and spiritual culture.
Academician Matija Bećković assessed it as “a modern continuation of the Kosovo cycle,” while literary critic dr Mileta Aćimović Ivkov described Rakočević as “a thoughtfully refined lyric poet of metaphysical orientation.”
About the author:
Živojin Rakočević (1973) is the author of several poetry collections, books of interviews, and monographs. He is the director of the Cultural Center “Gračanica” and president of the Association of Journalists of Serbia.
He is the recipient of the following literary and journalistic awards:
