John Murrell’s duodrama combines elements of comedy, an essay on theater, and theater within theater. The play deals with the memories of the French actress Sarah Bernhardt, which in her later years are recorded by her secretary Georges Pitou. Georges Pitou is also the acting partner who plays various roles with Sarah.
