The literary program of Geopoetics Nights will take place at The House of Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić in Herceg Novi on 16 and 17 July. The program is organized by JUK Herceg Fest and the publishing house Geopoetika.

On 16 July, the guest of the program is historian, writer, and co-founder of Geopoetika Milan Ristović. He will present the books Mala sveska and Utišani glasovi, in which he combines personal memories, history, and the destinies of “ordinary people.” Ristović is the author of numerous scholarly and literary works and one of the notable authors exploring the connection between history and literature.

On 17 July, the guest of the program is writer, screenwriter, and director Nađa Petrović. She will speak about her novel Meduze žive zauvek dok ih ne uhvate, which was shortlisted for the NIN Award and won the “Grozdana Olujić” award for the best prose book of 2023. The novel deals with growing up, love, loss, and the search for identity.

The conversations with the authors will be led by Jasna Novakov Sibinović, director and editor-in-chief of Geopoetika.
