Tony Pusztai Oriental Trio's performance will take place on August 3 at Trg od muzike as part of the 20th edition of the Guitar Art Summer Fest festival. Admission is free.
The audience will hear the new musical material by Antal Pusztai, released under the title Just for You, for the first time. The album features original compositions and arrangements of works from classical music and jazz. The repertoire represents a meeting of classical music, jazz, and folklore, where tradition intertwines with contemporary musical expression.
About Antal „Tony" Pusztai
Antal „Tony" Pusztai is a classical and jazz guitarist born in Hungary. He studied at the Conservatory in Győr and at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in the class of Alvaro Pierri. His recognition in world musicology is confirmed by fifteen first prizes at prestigious competitions in Europe and the USA.
He has collaborated with:
On Lee Ritenour's album Twist of Rit (nominated for a Grammy Award), he participated as a soloist. Since 2017, he has been a permanent member of the Fortissimo Band.
