Tamara Jokić Quartet – Concert That Connects Worlds

The talented singer, songwriter, and composer Tamara Jokić blends Balkan style, Portuguese fado melancholy, and Spanish flamenco. The music she performs tells stories of love, loss, passion, anger, and heritage.

Time and place: August 5, Trg od muzike, Herceg Novi. Admission is free.

The concert is part of the jubilee 20th Guitar Art Summer Fest.

Program and ensemble

Tamara Jokić performs with a band consisting of:
- Dušan Popović Lipovac – guitar
- Manos Stratis – bass
- Petar Zorkić – percussion

Songs from both albums will be performed. The first album, Transibérica, features fado and flamenco melodies from the Iberian Peninsula. The album Kuća explores Balkan roots and presents a blend of regional traditions and contemporary sounds. It was recorded in New York with international musicians.

Special attention is given to the song Vranjanka from the album Kuća, described as an anthem to the Balkan soul – emotionally powerful and deeply heartfelt.
