In search of inspiration for her new novel, Silvi secretly watches the neighbors across the street. About the director:
Asghar Farhadi was born in Iran. He directed his first film, Dancing in the Dust (2003), followed by Beautiful City (2004). His film About Elly (2009) won the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlin Film Festival.
His film A Separation (2011) received critical acclaim in Iran and around the world, as well as numerous awards, including the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Farhadi thus became the first Iranian film director to win an Oscar.
In Iran, Farhadi made The Salesman, which brought Iran its second Oscar in the Best Foreign Language Film category. His film A Hero won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival.
