Synopsis:
Marija is a skater who lives with her father, a truck driver, on the outskirts of Belgrade. Crushed by grief over her mother’s death, Marija cannot express her sexuality, which she experiences as a great secret that haunts her. Marija’s father grows close to a woman who moves in with her two daughters. Marija supports her father, but realizes that she cannot trust her new stepmother.
About the director:
Maja Miloš (1983, Belgrade) graduated in film directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. She has directed eleven short films. Her debut feature film Clip (2012) was shown at most of the leading international film festivals and won numerous awards, including the Tiger Award for Best Film at IFF Rotterdam. She has been a jury member at IFF Rotterdam, Sarajevo, and Karlovy Vary. She is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
