Synopsis
The Škrbić family seemingly leads an ordinary life in an apartment in Vidikovac, while in fact they are obsessed with the appearance of success. When they suffer a financial collapse, and Senka has already boasted about spending the summer in the wrong company, they come up with a plan: they will pretend to be going to the sea by hiding in a nearby forest, and at night they will sneak into their own apartment. Over the course of ten days, family secrets, betrayals, and closeness unravel.
About the director
Gvozden Đurić graduated in film and theatre directing from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He is currently a doctoral student at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and works as an assistant professor at the Academy in Novi Sad. His professional experience includes directing and/or writing screenplays for numerous television series and films, including: the series Mama i tata se igraju rata 2 (six Heart of Sarajevo awards), Mama i tata se igraju rata 3, Od vrata do vrata, Agenti (developed for HBO Europe), the feature film and television series Liberta – Rađanje grada, the series Grupa (award for best screenplay at the FEDIS festival). He also worked as second-unit director on the series Pasjača, Poseta, Kljun (Audience Award in the Canneseries program in Cannes, as well as at the Sarajevo Film Festival). He is currently preparing the feature film Slikar svetlosti, about the painter Sava Šumanović.
