Herceg Novi Comic Book Festival (HSF) will be held from September 4 to 9 in Herceg Novi. The festival’s 20th anniversary edition includes a music programme at Forte Mare Fortress and in the Amphitheatre of the Herceg Novi Theatre. Admission to all concerts is free.
- Friday, September 4: the opening ceremony begins at 8 p.m. with a performance by Mjesna muzika Đenović. From 10 p.m., NeonoeN and Partibrejkersi, led by Zoran Kostić Cane, will perform at Forte Mare Fortress.
- Saturday, September 5: from 10 p.m., “San Gvida sa Hokaida” and “Film”, led by Juro Stublić, will perform at Forte Mare Fortress.
- Sunday, September 6: from 10 p.m., “Gorostas” and Rambo Amadeus with his quintet will perform at Forte Mare Fortress.
- Tuesday, September 8: from 10 p.m., “Seagulls” and “Boka all star”, a group consisting of Marko Vlahović, Dragan Ivanović, Martin Đorđević, Goran Milojević and Miodrag Šule Jovović, will perform in the Amphitheatre of the Herceg Novi Theatre.
This year’s HSF will bring together more than 150 creators and comic book professionals. Among the twelve special guests are:

- Marco Costiello, Josephina Tomarchio, Katja and Luana Vecchio (Italy)
- Dani (Greece)
- Darick Robertson, Terry Moor, Jim Mahfood and Shawn Crystal (USA)
- Geof Senior and Barry Kitson (United Kingdom)
From Italy come Anna Lazzarini, Oscar Scalco, Marcello Mangiantini and Luca Strati, while the French scene is represented by Jean-Charles Poupard, Tristoon and Christoph Bataillon. The Spanish comic book scene is represented by Francis Portela and Fernando Dagnino.
Other guest artists include Brett Hobson, William Simpson, Esad Ribić, Dalibor Talajić, Stipan Morian, Mirko Čolak, Sarah Burrini, Aleksa Gajić, Jovan Ukropina, Milorad Vicanović Maza, Iztok Sitar, Izar Lunaček, Štef Bartolić, Krešimir Biuk and Tihomir Tico Tikulin.
During the festival, Dominika Czapska, director of the Warsaw Comic Book Festival, will also be staying in Herceg Novi, along with Bob and Gina Chapman, owners of the Graphitti Design publishing house.
