Premiere of a film about Magi Magazinović

On the festival’s final evening, the Montenegrin premiere of the experimental documentary film “Maga 1909,” directed by Branka Pavlović from Belgrade, will be held.

The film was made as a German-Serbian co-production and tells, through dance, the story of the journalist, intellectual, and feminist Maga Magazinović. A contemporary of Andrić, Magazinović wrote for the newspaper Politika, in which Ivo Andrić also published. The film evokes the era and the time in which they both created.
