Four young friends from Belgrade travel from New York to Los Angeles in a Yugo, a car from the 1980s manufactured in the former Yugoslavia. The four millennials born in the 1990s in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia pass through 24 states in search of an answer to the question of what it means to be the worst.
During their journey, they meet people who worked on importing Yugos in the 1980s, contemporary Yugo fanatics, Americans, and emigrants from post-Yugoslav countries. At the same time, they learn about their own personal history and how it is connected to the Yugo.
