Milica Konstantinović's play presents the life story of Đuka, Nikola Tesla's mother, through the lens of the relationship between tradition and modernity. The text is the laureate of the prestigious "Branislav Nušić" competition and quickly became one of the most awarded plays, highlighting the significance of female support to genius and the position of women in the 19th century. The play stands out for its dignified wisdom and comprehensive approach to domestic dramaturgy, presenting Đuka as a paradigm of silent heroines whose faith shaped history.
