About the film
Tonina is a caring and self-confident accountant who runs her company together with her husband and daughter, while also taking care of all aspects of the family logistics. Besides all that, she also cares for her mother, who has dementia and is immobile. Her younger sister Tajana, with her family, has a much more relaxed and less ambitious approach to life. The relationship between the sisters is strained when Tonina secretly buys a share of the family house on the island from their mother’s relative Željka, even though the sisters had agreed to buy it together. A year later, Tonina and Tajana try to reconcile on the occasion of their mother’s birthday, but long-suppressed tensions rise to the surface again.

Igor Jelinović (born 1984) is a Croatian director and screenwriter, the author of several short fiction films. He is also the chair of Blank, a nonprofit film organization whose main activity is focused on film education for children and youth, as well as the production of short films for debut authors.
