Promotion of the poetry collection "Sanduče" by Marko Marković
📅 26. April · 19:00
📍 Dvorana Park, Dvorana Park, Njegoševa bb, 85340, Herceg Novi Crna Gora
The collection was created from a real encounter with a wooden box full of memories — medals, war letters, photographs and a handful of soil from the Salonika Front, with a bequest that the house should not be sold.
Marko Marković, the author of the collection, is a recipient of the Sretenje State Award, a state decoration awarded for exceptional contribution to the preservation of Serbian tradition, cultural identity and historical memory through literary creation.
Marković was born in 1986 in Kragujevac. He has been writing poetry and prose since childhood, and finds inspiration in Serbian history, tradition and village life. His earlier works include:
- Poetry collection "Zlatovez" (2018)
- Poetry collection "Grušanska brojanica" (2019)
- Historical-adventure novel "Devojačka kletva", the first part of the trilogy "Lovci na zveri" (2021)
He engages in composing, directing and scenography. He is currently working on a monograph of the village of Ljuljaci in Gruža, where he lives and creates.
The literary evening will feature:
