The concert is dedicated to 14th-century music from the famous Red Book of Montserrat Monastery — one of the most significant musical manuscripts of the late Middle Ages. The program includes works created for pilgrims and the Escolania choir school at the monastery, as well as rarely performed instrumental works — Italian saltarellos and French estampies. The vocal pieces encompass Latin, Old Catalan, and Occitan languages, combining liturgical forms with dance rhythms. For the vocal ensemble "Fortis," under the direction of Ana Barsova, this is a debut performance.
