The European Film Festival is coming to Montenegro, running from 19 June to the end of August. Throughout this period, all 25 municipalities across the country — from Podgorica, along the coast, to the north — will host screenings of contemporary European cinema. The programme includes award-winning fiction, documentary, and animated films from across Europe.
The festival is organised by the Delegation of the European Union through the European House, with the support of the Cineuropa platform, and in partnership with the Film Centre of Montenegro and the Montenegro Cinema Exhibitors Network.

A documentary film made in the wake of the director's father's death. Over the decades, her father had recorded his life and daily routines on camera — footage that was never labelled, edited, or watched. After discovering his extensive collection of tapes, the director embarks on a cinematic and personal journey to rediscover who he was. Through footage of moments she never witnessed, and through memories of growing up alongside a camera that served her father as a tool, a chosen form of diary-keeping, and an extension of himself, she comes to know him in different roles, times, and parts of the world.
