Synopsis

The series follows Mihajlo Pupin from childhood at court through emigration to America, through poverty, great scientific discoveries, and political struggles, all the way to the moment when he puts his reputation in the service of Serbia at the end of the Great War.

About the director

Danilo Bećković (1981, Podgorica) is a Serbian director, screenwriter, producer, and professor of film directing. He graduated in directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and in general literature from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. He directed the films Mali Budo, Jesen samuraja, Mališan, and 3211. His films have been screened at the festivals Sitges, Fantasia Montreal, Cairo IFF, FilmFestival Cottbus, Bucheon IFFF, and Karlovy Vary IFF.
