About the film:

Dejan, a drug addict, is undergoing rehabilitation in a monastery. Over time, he becomes the right-hand man of the priest who leads the community. When the priest goes too far with his methods, Dejan is faced with the choice of whether to protect the system or the truth.

About the director:

Goran Stanković grew up in Serbia, where he graduated in film directing from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade. He earned a master’s degree in directing at the American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles, where he received scholarships from The Hollywood Foreign Press and The Richard Frank. His graduation film RAŽ was nominated for the Student Academy Award for best live-action short film. He has built an acclaimed career in television as co-creator and director of the drama series JUTRO ĆE PROMENITI SVE for Radio-televizija Srbije. He also directed the historical drama series NEČISTA KRV, and co-created and directed the series SABLJA, which was awarded at the Canneseries festival and distributed internationally in collaboration with Beta Film.
