Where is the Konfin — Vitaljina border crossing

Konfin — Vitaljina is an alternative road border crossing between Montenegro and Croatia. On the Montenegrin side the checkpoint is called Konfin, and on the Croatian side — Vitaljina, located in the Konavle municipality. The crossing opened in 2019 as a supplement to the main Debeli Brijeg — Karasovići checkpoint.

As with the main crossing, Dubrovnik is less than an hour's drive away.

Konfin — Vitaljina is noticeably less busy than Debeli Brijeg — Karasovići, making it a handy alternative during peak season. That said, this crossing occasionally closes, and queues are also possible in August — though typically shorter than at the main checkpoint.
