Sukobin (Montenegro)
Where is the Sukobin — Muriqan border crossing
Sukobin — Muriqan is one of the main road border crossings between Montenegro and Albania, and the most popular one among tourists. On the Montenegrin side the checkpoint is called Sukobin, and on the Albanian side — Muriqan. The crossing is located on the border section of road E851 on the Montenegrin side (Ulcinj) and road SH41 on the Albanian side (Shkodër).
The checkpoint is just a few kilometers from Ulcinj. It is a joint terminal: Montenegrin and Albanian border officers work at neighboring windows, so passport control usually takes just a couple of minutes. On the Albanian side, Tirana is about a 2-hour drive.
