Yugo is going to America

Four millennials, born in the 1990s in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, set off on a journey through the southern United States in the legendary Yugoslav Yugo, which was named the worst car in the history of the United States. They travel through 24 states, from New York to Los Angeles, searching for an answer to the question of what it actually means to be the worst.

On their journey, they meet people who worked on importing the Yugo in the 1980s, present-day enthusiasts of the car, Americans, and immigrants from post-Yugoslav countries. At the same time, they uncover their own personal history, realizing how inseparably connected it is to the Yugo.
